The Twisted Treant by Mehul Patnam

In the jungle sits the biggest tree
Tough and mighty as can be
It's Saplings fall and make no sound
A twisted treant of the ground
It roots and smashes with little care
Razing through everywhere
A vengeful maelstrom as it goes
But all this for what - that nobody knows

Untitled

I have spent a bit of time
Memorizing poems by the line
Creating memories oh so fine
Of works of art defined by rhyme

Thinking

I sit, pondering my existence
Long nights are spent, wide awake
One day I will discover what it all means
Violence rages around the globe
Electricity surges through my brain
Cats are intriguing animals
Unique people are like snowflakes
My life is pointless
